Agreement between the European Union and Palestinian Authority, about duty free access of fruit, vegetable and fish oils from Gaza and the West Bank to the EU market, was reached on Wednesday.
In 2009 imports from Gaza and the West Bank to European Union totaled about 8.02 billion dollars (6.1 billion euros) mainly in potatoes, oils and grain according to the date presented by European union.
Further opening of the EU market towards import of palestinian agricultural & fisheries products is expected to help in development of the West Bank and Gaza Strip economy. Continue reading
